We are excited to invite applications to join our growing Direct to Consumer digital commerce team supporting our Oral Health and Skin Health direct-to-consumer and profession-to-consumer businesses!

 

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps engineer to help us win in eCommerce. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, is able to juggle multiple tasks at once, anticipate issues and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. This role will involve planning, design, development and maintenance of our infrastructure. This position requires someone that is a self-starter, is eager to learn new technologies and always considers security and performance implications in their designs of our constantly evolving D2C, B2B and B2B2C portfolio.

 

Specifically, this position will have the responsibility to:

  • Design and automate CI/CD stack, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and logging
  • Work with developers and release management to design and implement delivery pipelines
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the application development team to streamline code deployment.
  • Participate in architecture design and implementation of infrastructure monitoring, security, and scaling solutions
  • Evaluate and evangelize forward-looking processes, tools and technologies that help deliver high-quality secure software faster and more efficiently
  • Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation
  • Implement and improve automated testing solutions
  • Collaborate within the product team to consistently deliver quality software to end users.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar degree
  • Working experience with code deployment tools and software-automation of production systems (like Helm, Terraform, Github Actions, and Kubernetes, or similar)    
  • 2+ years experience with Bash or Python programming                    
  • Strong command of experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience with Java or Javascript
  • Previous experience in a DevOps or Release Engineer role working closely with Software Engineers
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (GCP, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience managing infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
  • Experience working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
