Colgate-Palmolive invites applications for the Spring 2023 Collaboration Development Internship for the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This role is a paid six-month internship with opportunity to extend beyond. This intern will join the Collaboration Team and focus on developing solutions to provide automation for support tasks that are currently done as manual processes. This internship will also be called on in various capacities to help with our Employee Experience Project.


Responsibilities include:

  • Gain an understanding of Colgate’s Collaboration Portfolio

  • Design new work experiences for new employee experience platform

  • More experienced collaboration team members will work closely with this individual every step of the way 

  • Support our Google Collaboration Platform as needed

  • Provide end user training in Google Drive as needed 

  • Other development projects as needed 



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program

  • Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business/ IT Systems Management, or a related field

  • A minimum GPA of 2.8

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week with opportunity to work up to 40 hours

  • Strong technical knowledge

  • Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms 

  • Strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills 

  • Basic Knowledge in Windows, Windows Servers, networking. knowledge in  .Net, Visual C ++ or other programming languages a plus.

  • Google AppScript or Javascript preferred, GCP web site UI development

  • Must be able to be hybrid at our Piscataway, NJ office

    • The times/days in the office can be flexible 

Salary Range $21.50 - $31.00 USD 

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
