We are excited to invite applications for the position of Associate Front End Developer within our Global Applications: Global Technology team. Our Global Applications: Global Technology group works to try to drive agility within the rest of our organization.

 

As an Associate Front-End Software Developer, you will be working as part of a full-stack team in the fast-paced R&D environment supporting clinical and R&D operations around the world by developing the next generation of data collection and analytical tools on a state-of-the-art cloud environment

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing functional web and mobile applications
  • Building reusable, performant and clean code
  • Writing automated tests
  • Providing feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimizing applications for scalability and speed.
  • Collaborating with other team members, designers, and business owners.
  • Staying up-to-date on the newest technologies
  • Writing functional requirement documents and specification

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of proficient understanding of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery
  • Experience using one or more advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS or ReactJS
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Working knowledge of GIT source code control and branching methodologies, CI/CD, debugging, performance monitoring, benchmarking, logging, and testing tools
  • Strong experience with test-driven development methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience of Restful APIs
  • Strong knowledge of UI build tools such as Babel

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with deploying to cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with Veeva Vault CTMS software
  • Previous experience supporting clinical and R&D operations
