Skin Health Quality Engineer 

 

The Skin Health Quality engineer  is part of the Skin Health Group and his/her duties are focused but  not limited to the following areas: 

 

  • Coordinate, monitor and enhance the Skin Health quality system

  • Coordinate the Skin Health Contract Manufacturing (CM) quality program to ensure compliance to the appropriate Regulatory requirements  

  • Support CM operations to incorporate and comply with Global CM Quality Standards 

  • Manage the product release and execution of finished good release procedures

  • Drive CMs to action continuous improvement activities 

  • Support Quality Compliance initiatives as required (Quality standards implementation and auditing programs, etc.)

  • Monitor the post-market surveillance process

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Review regulatory requirements and conduct assessments on the Skin Health Quality System and products to identify gaps and direct the appropriate function to close gaps. 

  • Interpret and communicate local and international requirements to business leaders and contract manufacturers and ensure requirements are incorporated into the Skin Health Quality program to guarantee compliance with government regulatory requirements.

  • Manage the documentation system, which includes all documents vital to FDA regulated products, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Management of Change, Notices of Deviation, Nonconformance, and stability requirements. 

  • Coordinate the activities for the Skin Health Annual product review and mock recovery

  • Work with other areas in the assessing and definition of corrective actions for Quality issues

  • Partner with contract manufacturers to reinforce product development as well as the technology transfer and quality control processes.

  • Monitor the compliance of contract manufacturers’ quality systems and ensure product conformity.

  • Communicate clear product release requirements and specifications to the contract manufacturers.

  • Review Finished good products to ensure they meet the acceptance criteria and provide final approval. If a product does not meet the criteria, the Beneficiary has authority to reject the product.

  • Monitor customer and consumer complaint trends. Coordinate actions on complaints exceeding warning limits with Contract Manufacturers as well as Supply Chain and R&D teams and monitor the effectiveness of the implemented actions

  • Communicate and provide guidance on the implementation of Quality Standards for External Manufacturers.

 

Basic Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree on Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or other related technical field

  • Solid experience on Quality / Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

  • Knowledge on Windows & Google Suite

  • Strong Communication and Time Management skills

Salary Range $70,400 - $103,950 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive
offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
