The Sr Procurement Manager Subcontractors will be responsible for playing a leading role in ensuring cost, supply, quality and service for Filorga's contract manufacturers. She/He will be responsible for developing and implementing contract manufacturer sourcing strategies, resolving service/quality issues and driving FTG opportunities. She/He will also play a key role in risk management and segmentation analysis to support growth and improve engagement.


The Sr Procurement Manager Subcontractors will have the following main responsibilities: 

  • Report on purchasing KPIs and work with all relevant business functions/units.
  • Play an active role in negotiating and implementing contractual agreements with the MS. 
  • Implement outstanding strategies and maintain relationships and alliances with MS.
  • Identify, develop and lead strategic business relationships, internally and externally, to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies and implementation of projects to meet business needs.
  • Acquire in-depth industry knowledge of best practices, processes and technology trends to proactively adjust procurement strategy.
  • Identify measures, tools and processes to optimize sourcing innovation and efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with external manufacturers, technical and other functional groups, as well as with Marketing and Finance functions to implement purchasing policies, resolve issues, align service and financial strategies.
  • Lead continuous improvement programs with external manufacturers, including the FTG project.
  • Develop risk management platforms (back up plan) for contract manufacturers.
  • Support continuous improvement program 
  • Proactively manage supplier relationships to prevent and resolve potential service and quality issues.
  • Evolve cost control policy in line with key drivers 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical and commercial engineering profile
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in procurement, supply chain and subcontracting. 
  • Cosmetics / Pharmaceuticals expertise
  • Fluent French and professional English


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an engineering degree 
  • Be a highly skilled negotiator, able to handle a high degree of ambiguity and negotiating conditions.
  • Advanced skills in strategic cost analysis in the industry, able to assess the competitiveness of a particular product.
  • Practical experience of basic purchasing skills such as market analysis, contract development and management, supplier selection, negotiation, supplier performance and supplier relationship management, as well as some specific marketing knowledge.
  • Practical experience in preparing invitations to tender
