What you will do:

 

In the Consumer & Marketing Insights department, you will work closely with Brand management, Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams to help them in their day to day & strategic thinking needs, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth.

 

Reporting to the Consumer & Marketing Insights Director, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Business reporting and deep diving into market dynamics & consumer knowledge to drive insights and strategic recommendations: 

    • Understand & master countries’ & categories’ dynamics (Europe, Asia, North America) 
    • Deliver analytic insights to track performances of Filorga and our competitors: global market evolution, by category, new products, etc.
    • Build operational competitor deep dives: the objective is to have a better understanding of competitors’ strategies (portfolio management, distribution, pricing, launches, communication = 360 vision)
    • You will contribute to transversal projects, deep diving into market dynamics & consumer knowledge and combining resources from various areas to find out business opportunities 
    • Be the consumer champion by developing a deep understanding of consumer insights, unmet needs, marketplace trends, and the competitive environment 
    • You will also support top management/marketing/trade/countries in day to day questions

  • Data crunching and data automation: 

    • You will mine multiple sources of data and you will be in charge of the regular update of reporting tools (shared with the whole organization)
    • Check data quality and challenge data providers if needed
    • Work on building and maintaining data base & KPI reporting 
    • Automation/visualization: Build one global dashboard where all countries' data is available with the CBS (Center of Business Services) team (internal business consulting) 
    • Demonstrate use of data visualization 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience with data and minimum 3 years experience in similar assignments (using R or Python for data analysis)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, IT 

  • Advanced skills on R and Shiny

  • Google analytics experience preferred

  • Prior working experience in skincare, health or beauty preferred

  • Analytical minded, with the capacity to summarize & extract key insights with a clear purpose

  • Be able to communicate your findings clearly and explain them.

  • Be able to use your Marketing and business experience to translate the department's needs in requests than you can execute or pass to a technical team (translate marketing needs into data needs)

  • Confident to take the lead and present your projects

  • Rigorous, responsive, curious and proactive

  • Excellent planning and organization skills, ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once

  • Interest for beauty and consumer trends 

  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills - ability to find clear and compelling ways to communicate rich consumer insights to multi-functional partners with clear implications that drive action

  • Fluent French

  • Excellent written and oral English
