In this role the Social Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager, Social & Content, is responsible and accountable for planning and executing our content development, deployment and management of external content partnerships across Social and owned platforms. As a member of the Integrated Brand Experience Team this work will work with our various marketing teams, crossfunctionality, and our agency resources to executive strategies that support our growth plans.
Responsibilities:

Lead content efforts across consumer and professional target audiences.

Content streams to include social content, email content, and influencer programs for both organic and paid placements.

Leverage target audience insights, search data, CRM data, and more to drive content strategy, topic selection, and activation on always-on channels.

Includes managing a supporting agency team for content development and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities.

Identify and secure key partnerships with platforms, influencers, and content hubs that align with brand growth audiences in order to extend our reach and engagement outside of our owned ecosystems.

Manage vendors and provide reporting of effectiveness of content partnerships.

Monitor social media discussion on the category, competitors and brand using social listening tools.

Share regular performance updates and help define best practices to scale to global markets.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
-
3+ years of experience in digital marketing with hands on optimization and content creation experience
Preferred Qualifications:

MBA and/or Diplomate degree

Understanding of agile methodology and process

Knowledge of social platform best practices

Subject matter expertise in SEO, paid media, and CRM touchpoints

Experienced public speaker and/or PR-related skills and training

Digital literacy pertaining to either the nutrition, commercial, and/or and veterinary space.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
