Role Summary
Hill’s Pet Nutrition is seeking a Digital Shelf Associate to sit at the intersection of eCommerce, Marketing, and Data Analytics. Reporting into the U.S. Marketing function, this role owns our brands' presence across all eCommerce touchpoints to drive conversion across major retailer sites. You will be the architect of the shopper's journey, making it exciting to ensure every click leads to a seamless, persuasive, and best-in-class brand experience. The single most important outcome for this position is maximizing conversion rates by optimizing Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and managing digital shelf performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:

Own Digital Shelf Performance & Analytics: Own and manage Digital Shelf Scorecards to track KPIs (Share of Voice, Placement, In-Stock Rates, Content Integrity), using tools to conduct competitive audits and translate data into actionable insights for brand growth goals.

Develop Agentic Commerce Readiness Plans: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Artificial Intelligence Optimization (AIO) - like Alexa for Shopping - are the future of retail. Establish a concrete, specific action plan to make our digital shelf optimal for AI search.

Drive PDP Optimization & Content Strategy: Execute retailer-specific copy optimization with agentic commerce best practices, manage PIM record integrity, deploy enhanced content (A+ Content, Rich Media, Brand Stories), and collaborate with Agency and Brand teams for mobile-first asset deployment.

Lead Digital Execution for New Product Launch (NPL) and Product Updates: Lead digital execution for all New Product Launches and Product Updates, ensuring 100% readiness across images, copy, and keywords by the "Go-Live" date in partnership with Sales and Supply Chain teams. Prioritize workload to address our Brand Growth Plans and business commitments, aligning with Hill’s Division and C-P best practices.

Manage Retailer and Vendor Relationships: Partner with key retailer teams to deliver tailored digital shelf solutions and collaborate with Procurement to manage vendor relationships, optimize processes, and review costs/SOWs.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Category Management or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in PIM/DAM systems, syndication platforms, and digital shelf analytics tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools

Results-oriented with a strong passion for driving growth in the retail sector

Ability to thrive and advocate focus in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and storytell across all levels of the organization

Experience with retail media platforms and analytics tools such as Profitero, Revuze, or SimilarWeb

Previous experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
