We are seeking a Manager, Media Effectivess located in Overland Park ,KS. This role is a part of the Hill's US Commercial Analytics team that is responsible for driving transformational analytic capabilities, enabling robust business performance. The Media Effectiveness team is a strategic part of our 2030 vision and will enable a step change in driving Hill's Pet Nutrition’s ability to leverage data as a strategic asset.
In this role you will support and enable the MME(Marketing & Media Effectiveness) roadmap. You will own and manage Advanced Analytic work streams for our key category, Pet Nutrition. You will manage the relationships between 3rd party data providers, Media agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless process. You will need to have a deep understanding of Advanced Analytics methodologies including Marketing Mix and Attribution modeling. You must be a proficient storyteller, and comfortable communicating with senior management. You would need to translate complex Analytics outputs into simple business focused insights and implications. You must have strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and an attitude to stay abreast of advancements in Analytics
What You Will Do:
- Own and manage the marketing mix modeling, Data Collaboration Clean Rooms and multi-touch attribution analytic programs for Hill's Pet Nutrition
- Understand early outputs from MMM models, generate hypotheses and formalize final output with Agency.
- Maintain solid partnerships between media, insights and agency teams to develop and execute the learning roadmap and ensure analytics are effectively embedded in decision making.
- Think and act with a business lens, leveraging Analytics approaches including econometric modeling techniques, and connecting dots across other insights, to deliver actionable recommendations to business partners
- Synthesize data from multiple data sources or external analyses into a cohesive story
- Simulate future media plans to quantify the impact from various scenarios or recommendations.
- Be a key part of the analytics team: establishing methodologies, processes and external partnerships and prospecting for superior Advanced Analytics tools and techniques
- Define and execute bi-annual meta analysis leveraging learnings from executed projects
- Existing familiarity with Syndicated, POS and Media data streams and thus able to spot outliers/ errors and suggest solutions
- Gain deep category and brand knowledge from multiple sources
- Actively drive integration of relatively ‘new’ data streams such as digital media data, into Advanced Analytic models
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of experience, with deep experience in marketing analytics and/or data sciences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep, demonstrable knowledge of advanced analytic methods and modeling techniques, including major analytics attribution methodologies and approaches.
- Understanding of Point of sale data, major Syndicated data sources, Panel, Financial and Media data
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build partnerships and influence stakeholders and decision making.
- Strong leadership skills and communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact and diplomacy
- Ability to devise an effective solution in unstructured situations
- MBA or MS in quantitative field
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
