The Experience:
In today’s rapidly evolving retail environment, Digital Commerce has quickly become a top growth priority and at Hill’s, we are excited by the challenges this dynamic space brings. Our dedicated Shopper Marketing team is full of passionate crossfunctionals and we are seeking individuals with high energy, positivity and eagerness who can help us lead change for our business.
In this dynamic shopping environment, it is critical that our online presence be constantly updated to reflect our Brand Growth Plans and changing shopper preferences. We need online content to be cutting edge and competitive, leveraging retailer capabilities across all customers: for example, keyword volumes from Amazon can be used to update content across the board and improve organic search results. We also need to ensure content excellence and best practices are implemented across our online retail environments and not restricted to pureplay customers alone.
As Digital Commerce intern, this person will drive digital shelf content management across Hill’s retailer platforms. This role’s priority will be to manage the digital commerce asset ecosystem (PIM/DAM), with the end goal to bring our digital content across retailers with quality, speed and accuracy.
Your responsibilities:
1- Online content management (60%):
• Leads Brilliant Basics execution across all digital channels: images, description, A+ content and brand stores
• Coordinates with key customer teams and partners closely with agency, shopper marketers and brand managers to ensure the right content is live at the right time
• Ensures Digital Scorecard metrics on content adherence are best in class
• Enable data-based decision making and track key metrics to ensure content is helping drive the ACPL strategy
2 - PIM & Syndication Management (15%):
• Manage record integrity of PIM to optimize data flow to retailer product pages, including uploading, updating, archiving, and organizing assets and data
• Collaborate with non-technical users (brand and sales teams) to ensure proper maintenance and usage of the PIM environment, and develop process and appropriate training materials
3 - Ratings & Reviews Coordination (25%):
• Leads review feed audit to actively identify syndication issues and resolve them in a timely manner with reviews partners
• Works closely with ratings and reviews partners like Yogi to monitor and generate insights, and feed those learnings back into online content
Who you are:
• A “strategic do-er” who can move at the speed of the ever changing eCommerce landscape without losing sight of the larger strategic implications
• A multitasker who can balance both operational and strategic thinking, has a high level of initiative and self direction while managing various priorities and stakeholders
• A problem-solver who has excellent analytical skills and leverages data to make decisions in an autonomous way
• A true collaborator who loves working in close knit, dynamic teams and who understands cross-functional implications of business decisions
• A rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a constant thirst for knowledge and continuous curiosity
• A strong communicator who is able to translate complex and technical concepts to train and influence non-expert audience
What you need:
• On track toward BA/BS degree, 3rd or 4th year
• Comfort utilizing Microsoft & Google tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with demonstrated project management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize according to business impact and pivot when required in an ever-changing environment
Preferred but not required:
• Experience managing product content systems / catalogs, including PIM and/or DAM (Stibo), for eCommerce
• Experience with Syndication platforms (Salsify, Syndigo)
• CPG experience
