This customer support agent is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to Hill’s customers.  The role consists of interacting with customers over phone, email, chat or other systems. The agent will input special orders, answer service questions, troubleshoot issues, and maintain customer account information.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to, research, and resolve customer inquiries/ issues.
  • Interact with , build rapport, and create goodwill across Hill's stakehoders by applying SOP's and escalate exeptions as needed.
  • Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to more specialized services, system testing, billing, order placement, tracking, shortages, damaged goods, and returns.
  • Analyze personal performance metrics to amplify strengths and opportunities for growth. 
  • Participate within team to identify strengths and process improvements.
  • System support, issues identification, submitting IT ticket requests and conducting systems testing.
 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service-related role
  • 1+ year of call center experience.

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to address issues, resolve complaints, and difficult customer conversations through standard and escalated SOP's
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude
  • Basic computer skills and excellent phone disposition
  • Ability to reference technical product information to provide customer support
  • Demonstrate integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and a passion for excellence while servicing customers
  • Sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $39,600.00 - $49,500.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
