The Advanced Analytics - Vet role is responsible for the secure access, extraction, and transcription of data analytics from the Vet Channel that supports the business and brand strategies. This data transformation is critical for providing clean, high-fidelity datasets used to craft strategic opportunities to drive Hill’s growth, share, and overall profitability. This position will work closely with the commercial teams to ensure alignment to strategies,  data fidelity and efficient execution of data outputs.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be the subject matter expert for Vet Channel data ingestion and transcription

  • Work and operate within a clean room environment

  • Securely access, query, and transcribe raw data analytics from the Vet Channel to produce clean, governed datasets for strategic analysis.

  • Develop and implement automated processes for data extraction, cleaning, and transcription from the clean room to reduce manual effort.

  • Maintain strict data governance and security protocols specific to clean room operations and compliance requirements.

  • Partner with commercial teams  to ensure transcribed data meets modeling and analytical requirements.

  • Support automation and scalability of clean room and Vet  data workflows for self-service analytics

  • Provide accurate and timely Ad Hoc data sets and analysis focused on the Vet Channel.




Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of related experience focused on secure data handling, data engineering, or transcription within a regulated environment.

  • Proven experience working within a "clean room" (liveramp/ snowflake) or secure data enclave environment.

  • Expertise in SQL and programming languages (R/ Python) for advanced querying and data pipeline development.

  • Experience in breaking down sophisticated data transformation problems to find data solutions that lead to business growth.



Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in cloud-based data storage and processing (e.g., GCP, AWS).

  • Experience with Vet Channel data providers (e.g., IDEXX, or similar veterinary practice data).
  • 4+ years in Business Analytics.

  • Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Animal Health industry.

  • Familiarity with data governance policies and PII compliance best practices.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $109,600.00 - $155,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
