Job Purpose

The role strives to drive net sales, profit, and market share growth for the category brands through strategic and tactical actions. This includes supervising the 5Ps, ensuring the product portfolio remains relevant through updates and optimizations, and developing customer and retail plans. The role is also responsible for trade marketing promotions, owning the A&P budget, performing category and product analysis, leading digital transformation efforts, and handling the Digital & Marketing Executive. You will work daily with the world's largest and most popular brands (Palmolive, Softlan, and Ajax), ensuring they come on the market and consumers can continue to get their favorite products. You are passionate about branding and wants to make a real impact by working for a global brand while enticing local consumers. You are able to challenge the status quo, and come up with creative ideas to begin problems You will consistently deliver the category and brand objectives, aligned to the overall Division strategy and agreed priorities and support driving our digital transformation. 

 

What you will do:

  • Drive net sales, profit and share of market growth for the category through longer-term strategic and shorter-term tactical actions.
  • Develop, implement and supervise all aspects of the 5Ps.
  • Keeping the product portfolio up to date and relevant with product introductions and base portfolio optimisation based on consumer needs, market trends and competitive actions.
  • Develop customer and retail environment plans in collaboration with customer development.
  • Develop, implement and supervise brand relevant trade marketing promotions.
  • Responsible for the local A&P budget (inc. media choices with NE Hub) with focus to improve value for all investments.
  • Responsible for category and product analysis for the portfolio on Personal care and Home & Fabric care, being the local authority.
  • Drive the digital transformation to optimally connect with consumers and shoppers during the entire shopper journey.
  • Potential for line management experience

 

Who you are:

  • Shopper and people centric focus 
  • Establishes links across different organizational levels and functions.
  • A well developed business mind set and willingness to continuously improve in financial literacy
  • Experience in Nielsen, POS data and excel is an advantage
  • Preferably strong skills in digital
  • Proficient in English and Norwegian
  • Effective and self-motivated with high working capacity.
