Job Summary (Purpose) : 

The Oral Care Consultant will act as a trusted partner to private dental clinics, positioning Colgate as the leading oral care brand. They will drive sustainable growth through consultative sales, scientific product education, and relationship management. This role requires executing territory strategies aligned with organizational objectives to strengthen market leadership and clinic-level penetration. Furthermore, the consultant must develop distributor capabilities and oversee third-party detailing personnel to drive brand adoption and market growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead structured detailing visits to dentists and clinics, delivering high level scientific product discussion,education and demonstrations.
  • Translate clinical insights into commercial opportunities, consistently achieving sales targets and expanding market reach.
  • Act as the liaison for coordinating professional conventions and scientific engagement activities, ensuring impactful representation and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Provide training and capability-building support to distributor sales personnel, ensuring alignment with Colgate’s detailing standards.
  • Oversee and guide third-party personnel engaged in detailing and selling activities, ensuring compliance, quality, and brand consistency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of proven success in sales, account management, or customer engagement roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence clinical decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage territory operations, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet performance metrics.
  • Prior experience in dental, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales with established clinician and distributor relationships is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and data-driven sales reporting for decision-making.
