Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the effective and accurate recording and collection of operational Key Performance Indicators including daily data analysis and tracking of efficiency progress, downtime, scrap, changeover, and data trending. This position will assist in looking into areas to improve cost efficiency. In addition, this position will work with others in various departments to achieve factory business objectives of safety, efficiency, customer service, quality, GMP’s, cost, FP&R, and environmental protection.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Performs validation of daily operations data to ensure effective data functionality and integrity;

Responsible for reporting yield and AML results;

Be a resource for Continuous Improvement projects as needed. This includes being a team member for Kaizen events, CI projects, as well as taking meeting minutes;

Responsible for reporting packaging consumption, regrind opportunities;

Defines data requirements, collects and validates information applying judgment and statistical analysis;

Prepares reports for management defining problems, evaluations, and recommended solutions;

Prepares production efficiency and downtime tracking, and asset utilization reports;

Participates on cross-functional teams and special projects as needed;

Understand and align with Hill’s policies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety;

Identify and report Food Safety issues to management.
Basic qualifications include:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
2 + years of manufacturing experience.

Working knowledge of office productivity suites, spreadsheet, slides, including word processing, email, calendar (i.e. Google Suite, excel, etc)

Ability to Read/Write/Speak and Understand English.

Ability to work any shift and weekends as needed
Preferred qualifications include:
-
Experience with SAP or any other similar ERP system, MES (Manufacturing execution system), Tableau and/or DOMO, Google Looker Studio
-
Lean Six Sigma certified
-
Experience with Asset Utilization modeling
Work schedule Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with ocassional overtime paid weekends
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $52,800.00 - $72,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
