About the Role

Are you a dynamic leader ready to drive operational excellence and inspire a high-performing team? As our Operations Team Leader, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing success. You will champion the daily production schedule, ensure top-tier customer service, manage financial performance, and lead key operational excellence initiatives (EOHS, Quality, and FP&R).

 

Responsibilities

  • Champion Safety: Ensure strict compliance with corporate and site EOHS policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), HazCom, and Minimum Safety Requirements (MSB).

  • Drive Workplace Safety: Conduct regular safety observations, participate in EOHS walkthroughs, lead incident investigations, and execute emergency response plans when necessary.

  • Uphold Quality Standards: Guarantee total compliance with corporate quality guidelines, cGMP requirements, and Good Documentation Practices.

  • Ensure Process Integrity: Oversee line validation, proper cleaning/sanitization, and ensure technicians and operators strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Manage Quality Improvements: Oversee the Change Management (MOC) process, report non-conformities, and effectively execute CAPAs for Failure Investigations (IF).

  • Lead Daily Operations: Facilitate seamless shift handovers and actively participate in standard daily performance meetings.

  • Optimize via Data: Utilize FP&R guidelines and data analytics tools (OPERA, Tableau) to analyze material losses, optimize resources, and boost plant KPIs.

  • Sustain 5S Standards: Ensure 5S and Visual Workplace (VW) principles are consistently maintained and audited in your area.

  • Support Maintenance: Oversee the execution of planned maintenance schedules and collaborate to resolve equipment issues quickly.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.

  • Previous experience managing personnel/teams.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace and SAP).

  • Basic to intermediate English proficiency.

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to connect with people at all levels.

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts, and make sound decisions.

  • A true team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
