Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Executive Compensation

The Sr. Analyst, Executive Compensation, located in our New York headquarters, will be provided the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executive compensation and global stock plan management. The role will work closely with the extended Global Total Rewards team, HR Business Partners, and CBS HR and have senior team exposure.
What you’ll do
- Develop materials for presentation to the P&O Committee of the Board of Directors, CEO, and senior leaders, including presentations related to: incentive plan design, incentive outcomes and stock recommendations
- Develop financial models and spreadsheets, conduct ad-hoc analysis to determine the effectiveness and appropriateness of compensation practices, visualize findings and provide recommendations
- Participate in annual salary surveys, job matching, evaluate and analyze salary data and market competitiveness
- Support the annual Proxy submission process liaising with Legal, Finance and external stakeholders
- Assess board and officer compensation based on sourcing relevant benchmark information
- Support and/or lead compensation strategic initiatives and special projects
- Contribute to long-term incentive plan design, development and execution
- Develop and enhance communication strategy as it relates to our long-term incentive plans
- Primary contact for Merrill Lynch, Colgate’s global equity administrator, for all technical and administrative steps as well as troubleshooting escalated participant issues. Equity process tasks include: developing timelines, preparing analysis for senior management review, ownership and maintenance of internal (SAP) and external recordkeeping systems, creating and launching manager and participant communications
- Manage the equity budget with Finance partners
- Lead analysis, testing and implementation of compensation system changes
- Manage partnership with CBS team to support stock administration and plan execution
Required Qualifications and Characteristics of Success
- Bachelor’s degree required (majors in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or related area preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience (preferred experience with base pay, bonus and equity program administration)
- Detail-orientation, strong analytical and verbal communication skills, high-level of integrity in creating and delivering high-quality work, and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Analytical / decision making ability to systematically break down complex problems into component parts and clearly explain the ramifications
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Collaborative, team player who is capable of communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization and maintaining professional composure
- Must have demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google collaboration tools
Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive
