We are looking for a talented and passionate Social and Digital Media Coordinator to help grow our social media and digital presence with People from recruits and Colgate People to members of the professions who endorse our products to our retail partners, influencers, business partners, consumers and community leaders. A successful candidate will operate strategically and execute tactically with creativity. Success in this role requires the ability to establish meaningful performance objectives, with a deep knowledge of each platform’s unique offerings, and develop compelling and innovative content. We are looking for someone with a drive for experimentation - for testing and learning  with a data-driven and instinct-driven mindset.

Main Responsibilities


  • Contribute to developing social strategies and campaigns, from inception, scheduling, management, and engagement through post-launch/analyzing data and delivering actionable insights for continued growth

  • Managing day to day campaign flow including creative, and social listening efforts.

  • Build and execute campaigns that drive user engagement and growth on new and existing platforms

  • Serve as a social expert internally and liaison externally with social platforms on their direction, best practices, and new opportunities

  • Stay up-to-date with new platforms, content formats, and practices to keep our channels relevant

  • High attention to detail and experience with keeping multiple projects aligned and on track

  • Advice and contribute to team goals around engagement, growth, and visibility

  • Report on progress against goals and relevant social marketing metrics for in-depth business reviews and reports for senior leadership

  • Work closely and collaboratively across brand, creative, paid social, PR and synergy teams to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations and strategies

  • Leverage social listening tools to surface trends and watchouts

  • Escalate issues, complaints, and watchouts to designated Leadership

  • Provide support on digital projects including updates and employee engagement initiatives


Required Qualifications


  • 2+ years of relevant experience working in organic and paid social media

  • 2+ years managing social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) with demonstrated growth

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience working with enterprise social media management platforms

  • Experience working in large, cross-functional environment


Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong sense of internet culture and trending content

  • Experience with live stream platforms 

  • Both consumer and business to business orientation


Nice to have


  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other website management systems

  • Experience with Google Analytics and SEO content development and performance tracking

  • Experience with social publishing and platforms like Falcon, Sprout Social, Socialbakers/Emplifi, etc.

  • Experience with social listening tools like Netbase, Spume, Falcon, etc.

  • Experience with social media community management tools like Emplifi
