Senior International Tax Analyst

This individual will be responsible for the review of US international tax computations, will manage aspects of the US international tax compliance process, and will support special tax projects. This individual will work collaboratively and effectively with federal and state tax teams to ensure seamless, timely, efficient, and accurate sharing of data for the tax provision and compliance. The candidate must also have strong knowledge of US international tax rules and regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of US international tax provision and compliance computations, including GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, foreign exchange gain/loss, fixed asset, Sec. 861 expense allocation, and foreign tax credit utilization.
  • Utilize Onesource tax software to prepare various international tax returns, including the importation of trial balances and look-thru calculations.
  • Prepare and review select entities’ US International Tax Forms such as 5471, 8858, 1118, and 8992 for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with running Alteryx workflows and other automation softwares as part of the US international tax provision and compliance computations.
  • Perform SOX control testing on international matters and assist with external audit requests.
  • Participate in various departmental projects, including automation projects, efficiency improvements, and assist with implementation due to law changes or new regulations.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation
  • US International Tax experience

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international tax compliance; preferred candidate will also have Onesource (or similar) tax software experience.
  • Must demonstrate proficient use of Excel
  • CPA license
  • Solid knowledge of US International tax law including experience with international tax issues and with conducting related research
  • Must be highly motivated, very organized with a high level of accountability and keen to learn new technology tools such as Alteryx and Google Scripts
  • Experience working collaboratively and effectively with teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Readiness to travel 10% travel annually as needed

 

 

 

Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive
offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
