The HR Business Associate, reporting into the HR Director for NA Marketing & Digital, is responsible for delivering against progressive people strategies for NA Marketing and Consumer Experience and Growth within Colgate’s NA division. This role will consult and partner with Directors and Senior Managers, execute against our company’s core people processes, support company objectives from a people lens, and manage Marketing’s Summer Internship program and the General Management Development Program. This role is focused on operational and project management delivery with opportunities to stretch oneself in strategic HR spaces. 
 
What you will do
 

  • Project Managing the NA Marketing Summer Internship Program and General Management Development Program (GMDP)
  • Supporting core people processes which is inclusive of ensuring leaders and managers can effectively execute succession planning, DE&I, performance management, year end compensation cycle
  • Implementing strategic organization plans that meet short, mid and long term objectives
  • Enabling a coaching culture by influencing and supporting leaders and manager through strategic and day to day needs
  • Ensuring the delivery of appropriate training and development programs
  • Providing coaching and support to all management regarding team members performance
  • Supporting the TA strategy with the various stakeholders in alignment with company principles and 
  • guidelines
  • Partnering with Total Rewards to successfully deliver Colgate’s compensation processes
  • Driving engagement of the workforce through employee communication and engagement initiatives in line with company’s strategy
  • Managing disciplinary actions and terminations according to local regulations and company policies.
  • Owning the execution of system changes, reporting, and data analysis
  • Managing work authorizations with immigration 3rd party partners

 
 
Required Qualifications
 

  • 5 or more years experience in Human Resources in a large,  matrixed organization
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in consulting senior leaders and managing employee relations issues 
  • Management of core people processes (i.e. year end, comp. cycles, talent reviews, performance calibrations, etc.) and project management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication (oral and written), interpersonal  and influencing skills
  • Thrives in ambiguous situations; can adapt to and effectively manage change
  • Capable of identifying solutions and opportunities through the use of data analytics 
  • Utilizes one voice to ensure an inclusive and equitable environment in alignment with company values 

 
Preferred Qualifications
 

  • 2+ years of experience as HR Generalist driving HR initiatives
  • Experience with DE&I and  Intern Programs
  • Effective collaboration and problem solving skills
  • Highly organized

Salary Range $86,400 - $126,840 USD

 

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
