The Global Procurement Organization's key role is to ensure supplier quality, innovation and customer service. In addition, it deploys strategic sourcing to identify opportunities and mitigate risk. The GPO organization manages both Direct and Indirect spend amounting to approximately $13bn.
The role of the Finance Manager, Global Procurement is to provide financial and analytical expertise to the Procurement Org, and manage information structures to elevate insights to drive business decision making for both Direct and Indirect spend. The Finance Manager partners closely with the Procurement leadership team, working closely as a business partner to both measure and drive operating performance.
Principal duties and responsibilities

Lead procurement financial planning for the budget and quarterly updates

Provide financial oversight for spend analytics, developing reports and managing information that enables recommendations and review of actions for business opportunities and projects

Work with the commodity and division teams to understand the strategies to deliver FTG savings, ensuring appropriate levels of performance tracking are in place

Analyzing and tracking the long term productivity ( Funding The Growth - FTG) initiatives

Coordinate the preparation of material cost updates for standard cost preparation

Collaborate with Division Finance teams to ensure there is alignment on Procurement cost estimates / savings and P&L impact

Ensure all reporting and financial procedures are in line with Corporate guidelines and legal requirements

Coordinate with GIT (Global Information Technology) on the evaluation and implementation of current/new systems as it relates to Global Sourcing and Procurement (Integrated Costing)

In collaboration with the Sustainability Analyst, drive the verification of Responsible certification tracking, costs and supplier diversity spending
Additional responsibilities will include:

Partner with the Indirect Procurement team on the implementation of the Digital Roadmap initiative

Constantly seek out ways to improve our Finance practices, policies and process to deliver more effective and efficient outcomes

Partner with Global Procurement to improve cost alignment discipline and process governance for cost simulations and division risk/opportunities updates

Assess Supplier solvency and risk watch, including semi-annual concentration analysis
Education/Experience/Skills Requirements
Minimum 8 years relevant Accounting/Financial experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
Proven capability to build and manage large databases for scenario planning, data analysis and reporting
Ability to work with ERP systems with end to end capability in material estimates, pricing and variance analysis
Proven experience creating controls and transparent processes
CPA/MBA Preferred
Expected proficiency in: MS Office, especially Excel, SAP-BWP

Salary Range $107,760 - $158,445 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
