Sustainability is a Strategic Growth Catalyst at Colgate - a driver for our future growth.  Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)  continues to increase in importance as a proxy for a company's health and as an index for the future with investors.

 

The Finance Analyst for Global Supply Chain will be responsible for consolidating and reporting on the operating costs of sustainability.  This includes:

  • Identification and cataloging of operating costs across the different spend areas in the company (Cost of Sales, Commercial Spend, Other)
  • Development of a common template for collaboration and to provide visibility to such identified costs to all Divisions
  • Develop and Maintain a Sustainability Financial Tracker across all the eleven Sustainability and Social Impact Actions
  • Maintain the reporting requirements for the Sustainability Bond - Use of Proceeds and Project Impact - as laid out in the Colgate Sustainable Financing framework

 

Other responsibilities of this position will include:

  • The development of common templates which will be a self-sustaining, ongoing way of examining our P&L to allow for standardization across geographies
  • Collaborate with the GSC Data Analytics team to automate the collection of this data.  
  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare a checklist to follow in order to collect and consolidate data on a global basis
  • Prepare reports on spend status for Corporate Reporting, EHS and Treasury use

 

Qualifications

- BA/BS Degree required
- 3-4 years of Finance experience required
- Exposure and awareness to the environmental challenges for Planet Earth
- Strong spreadsheet skills, excellent presentation, communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Colgate Operations preferred
