Position Summary
You will report directly to the VP, Global Talent Acquisition (TA) and be a member of our Global TA Center of Excellence, based in Colgate-Palmolive’s Global HQ in New York City. In this role, you will directly support our Director, Executive TA with external labor market research and external talent mapping projects by leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights and Revelio to conduct research and provide accurate compelling market maps and insights that will inform future talent strategy and decisions.
Beyond hands-on research, you will support our suite of premium external labor market data platforms, ensuring maximum ROI, TA training/adoption, vendor relationship management and overall data integrity. You will act as an internal consultant to our global TA, HR and business stakeholders - translating macro-labor trends and competitive intelligence into executive-ready quarterly insights that shape our long-term workforce and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Talent Mapping & Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and talent intelligence assessments to support critical, high-impact executive-level openings globally. Identify talent, competitor structures, and potential succession pipelines proactively (identifying and profiling top-tier passive executive talent)
- Data Vendor & Platform Ownership: Support ownership and relationship management for specialized labor market data and talent intelligence platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Talent Insights, Revelio, Gartner). Partner on vendor business reviews, participate in contract renewals and drive internal adoption and training for the broader TA team.
- Executive Advisory & Quarterly Insights: Aggregate internal talent metrics with external macro-economic and labor market trends. Synthesize this data to build and present quarterly, executive-ready labor market insight presentations for the Chief People Officer and People Leadership Team.
- Sourcing Strategy Consulting: Support our Executive Recruitment work during the search kick-off stage, utilizing real-time labor market supply/demand data to pressure-test job requirements, adjust geographic constraints, and set realistic time-to-fill expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience focused on Talent Intelligence, Executive Search (Research, Sourcing, Recruitment) or Management Consulting.
- Knowledge of talent mapping methodologies, competitor intelligence gathering, and executive-level research tools.
- Prior experience using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter/Talent Insights as well as labor market data tools (such as Revelio, Lightcast/Emsi, Draup, or Beamery)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within a large, matrixed global enterprise or a top-tier executive search firm
- Exceptional ability to translate dense, raw data tables into high-impact visual stories and executive summaries that non-technical business leaders can easily digest.
- Confident presentation and advisory skills; comfortable defending data methodologies and influencing opinions in front of C-suite and HR leadership.
