As the Colgate North America Digital Asset Management Specialist, you will manage and support our two DAM systems (Stibo & Bynder), defining and driving the governance strategy from PIM to DAM. This role’s priority is that all types of digital content are properly ingested, organized, stored, protected, and cataloged. This role partners with various stakeholders across the NA division, including global IT, marketing, digital commerce, and agencies to drive a holistic DAM process that meets the needs of the North America (NA) business.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing Digital Asset Management Assets
    • Serve as North America strategic lead on platforms, integration processes, and governance
    • Work closely with global IT and digital teams to ensure DAMs meet needs of Colgate’s North American division and all content adheres to regulation requirements within all pertinent markets 
    • Help organize, track, and maintain digital assets in DAM systems for North American Division (Stibo & Bynder), including campaign videos, social images and product images. 
    • Help organize the DAM through metadata creation and file organization, creating and communicating the rules to DAM users 
    • Establishing rights management components for asset use to minimize legal and compliance risk
    • Serve as a North America representative for taxonomy and folder structure for the DAMs
    • Conduct asset audits by checking metadata and branding on assets to determine if contributor groups are adhering to the process and guidelines
  • Training and Documentation
    • Create and maintain user guides, tutorials, and training material to support North America division in creating and managing digital content
    • Conduct quarterly training sessions and workshops to educate users on the maintenance and use of our DAM systems
  • User Support and Outreach
    • Manage stakeholders across multiple functions and business units 
    • Provide point-of-need support to users, troubleshooting and responding to help tickets for various digital services.
    • Support ongoing DAM user interface optimization/enhancements according to best practices and user feedback 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience with DAM management, preferably with content management systems and issue tracking tools such as AEM, Jira, Syndigo, and Salsify
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • High level of initiative and strategic thinking skills — ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture 
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of UX principles and methodologies, with demonstrated experience applying them to web design and digital services
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for web design
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in DAMs
  • Demonstrated experience developing or delivering training sessions and workshops
  • Demonstrated experience in tagging, search and retrieval of assets


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $83,200.00 - $117,500.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
