This role is responsible for supporting the Sales organization and leadership with data driven insights, that support North America Division’s strategy and objectives. This role is a part of the newly created North America Commercial Analytics team that is responsible for driving transformational analytic capabilities, enabling stronger business performance. In this role you will lead and deliver analytic capabilities that help drive our customer strategies and retail performance. You will work closely with the Customer Development organization to understand needs and requirements, and leverage your strong analytical skills to enable impactful insights with the use of advanced analytic approaches. This role is a strategic part of our long term strategy and will enable a step change in driving Colgate Palmolive’s ability to maximise data as a strategic asset.

 

What will you do

  • Build sound knowledge of Colgate-Palmolive’s Customer Development function and their key priorities and needs
  • Build and own overall sales analytics strategy
  • Define, design and implement analytic solutions that enable data and insights based transformation of our customer engagement model
  • Develop customer centric predictive models to guide customer discussions, engagement and in-store execution
  • Identify new use cases and pilot innovative solutions with the goal of identifying approaches that can be scaled
  • Deliver core commercial analytics required to support business planning and performance management, including ad hoc analyses, business opportunity & risk identification
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and SME for sales related insights, ensuring tracking and measurement of actions based on these insights
  • Build a framework for analyzing and delivering concrete insights from Retailer level data
  • Maintain relationships with data suppliers and partners
  • Work with internal and external partners to build analytic models

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years supporting sales focused analytics
  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics techniques
  • Expertise in statistical modeling practices and how to apply models to measure tactics and get results
  • Demonstrate ability to translate analytic insights into actionable strategies
  • Expertise with understanding and maximising Retailer level data
  • Ability to work with different data sources including Household Panel data
  • Ability to lead multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint to build compelling stories through insights
  • Demonstrate curiosity, have a growth mindset and a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate complex insights with all levels of stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics or any related field

Salary Range $152,800 - $200,550 USD

 

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
