This role is responsible for supporting the commercial organization and leadership with data driven business knowledge and insights, that support North America Division’s strategy and objectives. This role is a part of the newly created North America Commercial Analytics team that is responsible for driving transformational analytic capabilities, enabling stronger business performance. In this role you will lead the creation and execution of a Business Intelligence and reporting roadmap, by working closely with cross functional business partners to understand needs and requirements. You will develop a consultative approach, demonstrating your strong analytical skills to enable impactful insights with the use of data mining and visualization techniques. This role is a strategic part of our 2025 vision and will enable a step change in driving Colgate Palmolive’s ability to use data as a strategic asset.
What you will do
- Accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing evolution of best-in-class reporting and BI capability
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, templates, visualizations and scorecards to support business needs
- Serve as a SME for insights based on these reports and analyses
- Create discipline and focus around business performance reporting
- Build strong relationships with key partners in the commercial organization, work collaboratively and cross functionally to collect key requirements and achieve objectives
- Seek continuous improvements and leverage new tools, applications, methodologies and ways of working
- Lead/Support adhoc projects for business analysis and reporting
- Build sound knowledge of Colgate-Palmolive’s reporting systems and data sources
- Create a framework for accessing, analyzing and delivering insights from Retailer level data
- Coach the organization to leverage data driven insights in a timely and impactful way
- Maintain relationship with data suppliers and partners
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years supporting Business intelligence and reporting
- Deep knowledge of reporting tools and visualization techniques and expertise with visualization tools like Tableau, DOMO, Power BI
- Expertise with understanding and using Point of sale data, Syndicated data, Panel data
- Ability to work with different data sources
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Adept at using data to connect the dots, and create impactful insights using reports visualizations and analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency in PowerPoint to create compelling stories through insights
- Demonstrate curiosity, have a growth mindset and a can-do attitude
- Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics or any related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL with some programming experience a plus
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (GCP, AWS) is a plus, but not required

Salary Range $142,400 - $207,900 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
