Position Overview

Transformation is 20% technology and 80% people. As the AI  Learning Specialist, you own the "Human Layer." You are responsible for designing the learning roadmap that empowers 33,000 employees and for fueling the program that scales our AI Ambassador network. You need to be at the forefront of modern AI technologies to be able to develop agile training that keeps our workforce at the cutting edge.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communications & Culture

  • Own the AI Narrative: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling "AI-as-a-Colleague" content. You own all AI communications, ensuring non-technical audiences understand why and how to use these tools.

  • Multi-Channel Execution: Design and manage the global AI communication plan in collaboration with our Corporate Communication team (Newsletters, CoLab articles, etc.). You will highlight success stories and practical use cases to drive excitement and awareness.

  • Communicate Value: Work with internal stakeholders to translate "usage metrics" into "business value stories" (e.g., hours saved, faster decisions), ensuring the impact of initiatives like our Retool Hackathons or other high-impact programs are visible to the entire organization

2. Empower the Global AI Leadership Team

  • Equip our Leaders: Empower the 25+ Global AI LT members. You will provide them with "Meeting-in-a-Box" kits, strategic talking points, and tailored material so they can effectively lead adoption within their specific functions without creating materials from scratch.

  • Scale the Network: Oversee the expansion of the AI Ambassador network and define the community engagement strategy to keep these champions active and upskilled.

3. Learning Strategy & Content Development

  • Core Content Creation: You are responsible for developing the "Master" training assets, including the core AI narrative decks, executive briefings, and "Train-the-Trainer" frameworks. You set the standard for what good AI training looks like at Colgate.

  • Manage External Partners: Act as an internal resource for our external Change & Learning consultants. You help direct their backlog to produce high-volume assets (e.g., video modules, e-learning courses) based on the core frameworks you define.

  • DataCamp Adoption Owner: Manage the rollout and license utilization of DataCamp. Curate learning paths mapped to specific roles (e.g., Marketing Manager, Supply Chain Lead) and run gamification campaigns to drive continuous learning.

  • Content Quality Control: Serve as a key approver for all learning materials produced by vendors or internal teams to ensure they align with Colgate’s culture, tone, and strategic priorities.

4. Program Success & Events

  • Hackathon/ AI Program Outcomes: While our IT and Vendor partners (e.g. Retool) manage the technical logistics of Hackathons, you own the outcomes. You ensure prototypes are celebrated, communicated, and that the value is understood by the business to drive future demand.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Business, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field;

  • Experience: 4+ years in Change Management, Internal Communications, Learning & Development, or similar experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications are an advantage:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • AI, Learning Design or Change Management

  • Tech Savvy: Very strong hands-on skills with the latest AI technologies including all major Frontier models and coding agents / CLIs.

  • Strategic Communication: Comfortable engaging both technical stakeholders and executives, translating between the two.

  • Vendor Management: Ability to direct external agencies or consultants to deliver high-quality creative and learning assets.
