Job Summary

  • The Voice & Video Technical Analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Voice & Video environment through understanding of Cisco VOIP & Telepresence Technology. He should have adequate knowledge of configurations and troubleshooting skills to support projects and performance issues.
  • He / She should also possess good communication skills to be able to effectively deal with US counterparts and business partners., business processes, and applications. In addition they are responsible for the resolution and/or escalation of the production incidents.


Essential Job Functions

  • VOIP
  • Should be able to understand LAN & WAN terminology and also should be able to correlate their impact on VOIP and Video segment
  • Supporting VOIP Cluster components with hands on experience on configuration & administration of
  • Cisco Call Manager
  • Unity Connection Servers
  • Contact Center Servers
  • Cisco Voice Gateway
  • Configuration and supporting VOIP implementation at remote sites
  • Validation of VOIP implementation documents like site readiness , LLD
  • Validation of Bill Of Materials
  • Configuration and supporting QoS & Packet analysis
  • Configuration and supporting Switching, VLAN, Ether channel , HSRP
  • Troubleshooting Call Manager, Voice Gateway , On Net Calling Issues
  • Create awareness of VOIP technology in end user
  • Support VOIP analysis and reporting to achieve savings
  • Good Communication skills and ability to coordinate with global stakeholders
  • Coordination with Wipro for VOIP rollouts , support and liaise with regional IT managers
  • Manage medium to high priority projects in VOIP
  • Vendor coordination & management


  • Video
  • Support  configuration & administration Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection Servers
  • Supporting different Telepresence end points and their configurations
  • Supporting  Video solution  implementation at sites
  • Design Assessment
  • Room Remediation
  • RRA
  • Troubleshooting Call Manager, Voice Gateway , On Net Video Calling Issues
  • Good Communication skills and ability to coordinate with global stakeholders
  • Coordination with regional IT managers for Video role outs
  • Should possess good technical knowledge about multicast concepts and should have ability to configure router , switches with standard configurations
  • Troubleshoot the multicast issue by coordinating LAN and WAN teams



Applied Knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge about CISCO VOIP, telepresence equipment, configuration and their troubleshooting
  • Understanding of WAN, LAN,Wireless controllers, Access points
  • Communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Cabling standards
  • Google Meet & Google Chromebox

  • Minimum degree requirements: Education – Engineering Graduates or Equivalent


  • Other work requirements: Might have to work in shifts ( Morning / General / Second Shift ) Needs to attend calls in US morning


  • Licenses and certifications:  Professional Certification - CCNA Voice is a must , CCNP Voice  ( Preferred )
