What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Team for this position?

 

The candidate is a subject matter expert and responsible for   Architect and integrate various applications in the area of large scale worldwide Colgate e-Commerce Operation and provides support.

 

The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for support and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.

 

The person should have the ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.

 

Who are you…

 

You are an technical architect -

 

Translates business and technical requirements into a technical design document to adhere to architecture strategy and application analysis work.
Develop integration solutions and services to enable SAP systems to interact seamlessly with external third-party solutions
Have  a deep technical understanding in the areas of: SaaS, APIs, file movement & transformation, authentication solutions, logging & monitoring, ETL-based processes, etc. for web applications enabling eCommerce channels. 
Utilize Colgate’s architecture standards to design and develop solutions that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability.

 

You connect the dots -

 

Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to comply of information technology governance practices
Ensure proper documentation of processes, knowledge acquisitions and transfers
Identify and build automation solutions to fast-track configuration and other manual activities
Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes
Provide support to troubleshoot integration issues for live applications

Develop relationships with multiple delivery teams and business partners to align with the digital strategy that will support our growth trajectory.

Work closely with internal team and external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmap and integrate seamlessly with other platform components

Manage / guide members to implement cross functional projects / initiatives leveraging project management standards

What you’ll need…(Required)

 

5 +years of experience designing & deploying applications applying SAP integration solutions like BTP/ SCI/ PI and popular cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
Hands-on experience (any one) of developing web services and specifically applying XML, XSD , SOAP , JSON , REST and ODATA Services.
Good knowledge of of creating iFlows in SCI
Good understanding of SAP Cloud integrations with SAP and Non-SAP systems
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
Significant experience developing technical design and development specification documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to develop content for & communicate with Executive Level partners as well as Engineering & Scrum teams.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

What you’ll need…(Preferred)

 

Experience in SAP ABAP is added advantage
Knowledge of Security Standards - SSL, PGP, Encryption, SAML, OAuth etc.,
Knowledge of major communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP, TCPIP, JDBC, JMS etc.,
Experience delivering various types of consumable, authoritative solutions at an enterprise scale.
Experience working on eCommerce Solutions
