What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Team for this position?

The candidate is a subject matter expert and responsible for design,development and implementation of various applications in the area of large scale worldwide Colgate e-Commerce Operation and provides support.

The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.
The person should have the ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.

Who are you...
You are an Quality Engineer-
● Understand and apply information technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
● Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve highly complex business processes and procedural problems
● Manage and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standards
● Manage application rollouts, system upgrades, apply user experience techniques
● Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes

● Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA
● Deliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources availability

You connect the dots -
● Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to comply of information technology governance practices
● Ensure proper documentation of processes, knowledge acquisitions and transfers
● Review program codes and suggest correction in case of any errors
● Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes

You are a collaborator -

● Collaborate with business and functional teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project
● Work closely with internal team and external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmap and integrate seamlessly with other platform components

You are an innovator -
● Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work
● Identify and explore new opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance the Platform

What you’ll need...(Required)
● Minimum 5 years of Testing analyst / Test engineer

● Experience in:
○ Industry best practices in SW testing processes: Unit testing, functional & Integration etc
○ Either functional or performance testing and analysis (Jmeter, Gatlin, LoadRunner/stormrunner etc.)
○ Testing REST APIs using Swagger, postman etc.
○ Any testing automation tools - Selenium, Testim.io
○ Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
● Responsible for test case specification, automation and data generation of the product
● Design and implement functional, performance, scalability,stability, and stress tests

● Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs,and usability.
● Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
● Analyze results, identify functional and performance issuesand write clear and detailed bug reports

What you’ll need...(Preferred)
● Experience on testing commerce platform such as Magento, Salesforce, SAP Commerce Cloud
● Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
● Developing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure,GCP)
