What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

 

Design, develop and test to build quality solutions on time and within budget. To partner with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.

 

Ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.

 

Who are you...

You are a developer

  • Understand and apply Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
  • Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to build solutions for varying business needs
  • Be responsible for design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture aligned with time lines and business requirements
  • Maintain production systems reliability through right utilization of governance processes

You connect the dots

  • Support day to day business requirements according to global SLAs
  • Ensure the accurate use of information technology project management methodology

You are a collaborator

  • Lead all aspects of the planning, execution, and delivery of projects
  • Partner with business teams to intake and prioritize requirements, provide updates on progress, and address any concerns or issues
  • Mentor and coach junior developer resources
  • Coordinate with multi-functional IT teams such as product management, quality assurance, and operations to ensure smooth partnership and alignment
  • Assist with problem-solving, code reviews, and technical decision-making

You are an innovator

  • Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes
  • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance team efficiency and productivity
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements
  • Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can make valuable contributions to the business

What you’ll need…

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Management
  • 10+ years of SAP ERP implementation experience - Should possess deep understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Sales & Distribution module with an emphasis on Order to Invoice process
  • IT Project Management - Should have proven track record of leading large scale global SAP ERP projects from initiation to completion
  • Demonstrate knowledge of related modules like gATP, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management etc.
  • People Leadership - Ability to craft an inspiring workplace environment with a culture of open communication, ownership and accountability
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, business insights, communication and partnership skills, with an ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
