What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
We are seeking a skilled and expert Data Platform Engineer to join us. The successful candidate will be supporting and setting governance around all visualization tools. You should have hands on experience in supporting tools like - DOMO, Sigma, Google studio, Tableau, Smartsheet.

You are a function expert -
This position is for an Individual contributor who would be accountable for the following -
- Supporting all the existing tools in the organization, Respond to support tickets and address issues.
- Educate users on standard methodologies and Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization.
- Recommend and participate in evaluation of new tools or technologies to improve current architecture or design
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines, departments, and segments
- Build and update documentation for the purposes of architectural governance and support or the tools that are used
You connect the dots -
- Your proficiency in leading Different visualization tools, coupled with your expertise in developing use cases, will bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical implementation. You will connect the dots by aligning API configurations ensuring that data sources are effectively onboarded.
You are a collaborator -
- Your expertise and insights will be key to the success of our visualization platforms and their integration into our overall architecture. You'll work closely with teams with wide-ranging strengths, partners, and customers to identify and prioritize features based on customer needs and business value, improving the capabilities of our visualization tools.
What you’ll need…(Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- 4 to 7 years of experience with visualization tools. Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles
- Ability to handle complexity to provide customers with simple solutions with Good understanding of APIs
What you’ll need…(Preferred):
- Technical platform knowledge and business process knowledge
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with querying data warehouses
