Title: Solution Architect – Global Finance S2P Lead
Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

The successful candidate will serve as the global process authority for the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) ecosystem, spearheading enterprise strategy, portfolio governance, and solution architecture. Operating at a Grade 14-15 level, this position is responsible for all Key S2P project management, critical capital budget allocations, and strategic cross-functional resource tracking via the GRID framework. The role acts as a primary liaison to executive business stakeholders and commands the end-to-end global vendor management lifecycle, including competitive selection, SOW documentation, and commercial negotiations. Ultimately, you will ensure robust system performance, continuous process automation, and risk mitigation across all operating geographies to prevent business interruption.
Responsibilities :

Global Architecture & Governance: Lead the end-to-end global S2P process strategy, defining integration paths across core General Ledger Accounting, SD, MM, Supply/Demand modules, Direct/Indirect Taxation, and specialized platforms like OpenText and Concur.

Portfolio & Resource Orchestration: Maintain global portfolio roadmaps by leading the execution of projects, conducting GRID project maintenance (demand tracking, status reporting, and capacity allocation), and presenting updates quarterly to global steering committees.

Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Command the strategic vendor lifecycle, including vendor selection, complex Statements of Work (SOW) structuring, contract negotiations, and external consultant deployment to drive maximum ROI.

Stakeholder Alignment & Business Engagement: Partner directly with global business leaders to evaluate incoming initiative requests, prioritize pipeline demands, and align cross-functional teams to secure GRID approvals. Working with the GIT Director and Global Finance leadership to establish, align, and cascade departmental goals and objectives.

System Reliability & Continuous Improvement: Enforce strict global governance standards, project methodologies, and documentation while analyzing root causes of performance issues to maintain system reliability.

Transformation & Intelligent Automation: Spearhead high-impact, transformative initiatives that combine technical architecture with business acumen, building automated use cases that realize quantifiable effort and cost savings.

Conduct the Performance Management and Development processes for subordinates per standards within corporate and local regulatory policies and practices.

Provide subordinate development opportunities, coaching, and technical mentorship to junior developers and architects to build deep domain competency.
Required Qualifications :
-
Any Bachelor’s Degree (Commerce, Finance, or Accounting background strongly preferred), paired with advanced qualifications such as a Master's degree, CA, or ICWA/CMA.

Minimum relevant experience of 15+ years or more leading large-scale SAP Finance and S2P architectural transformations in complex, global corporate environments.

Exhaustive, in-depth functional process knowledge across Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and SAP Banking systems.
Preferred Qualifications :

Advanced Systems & Tooling: Hands-on architectural and implementation experience within a native SAP S/4HANA environment.

Specialized Platform Integration: Proven technical exposure to OpenText, Core Capture, Ariba, TrustMi portal, Archive Server, Swift Payment, FSCM, Concur, AO reporting, or any Analytic tools.

Domain Expertise: Deep domain experience operating within a global manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization.

Strategy & Executive Presence: Strong leadership skills with the ability to confidently present technical compliance risks, financial architectures, and long-term roadmaps to C-suite/VP leadership.
