Job Summary (Purpose)
This position will act as the first line of support for Supply Chain Manufacturing Applications (Production Planning (PP) along with Plant Maintenance (PM) or Quality Management (QM) or both) as well as lead and implement projects in these areas.


Main Responsibilities

  • Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
  • Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to tackle complex business processes and procedural problems.
  • Identify and assess new technologies and concepts that can make valuable contributions to the business.
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing and applications of SAP & Non SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
  • Document detailed specifications of configuration design, test and training programs
  • Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
  • Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA, respond to emergencies (24X7), sometimes working in shifts.
  • Deliver solutions to tackle business requirements considering priorities and resources available
  • Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Applications & Americas, Regional Shared Service Organizations, Risk Management as well Business Shared Service Organization & Business functions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with GIT Peers, Business partners, customers and external resources
  • Participate and contribute in special projects or initiatives such as institutional programs, committees and others
  • Lead and coordinate Project Implementation across the divisions.
  • Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements
  • Ensure the proper use of Information Technology project management GIT 5 project management methodology to comply with Information Technology governance practices.

 

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology with desired Master’s degree in Business Administration in areas of Information Technology, Operations Management or Finance.
  • Minimum 4 years of IT Role Collecting Business requirements developing, configuring and implementing or supporting planning applications in Production Planning (PP) along with Plant Maintenance (PM) or Quality Management (QM) or both.
  • Minimum 2 full cycle implementation experience
  • Ability to understand and debug the code
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge to other Supply Chain Planning or ECC or newer technologies
  • Strong problem Solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root causes.
  • Ability to optimally communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.
  • Proficient English language skills

 

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Integration Knowledge of ECC processes in the area of MM, QM and PM
  • Exposure to MII applications
