Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

 

Do you want to come to work with a smile and leave with one as well? In between those smiles, your day consists of developing delightful products, connecting across the world for technology transfer, and making impactful contributions. You will join the India Global Technology Center (GTech) in Mumbai as a trainee for a proposed tenure of 2 years. This role is a learning and growth opportunity to develop Oral Care products to address consumer needs/trends in the India market.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop New products in Oral care category as per brief and provide support in technology transfer to manufacturing plants.

  • Make and screen prototypes/formulas, monitor stability as per protocol, and analyze products to establish stability/performance data.

  • Conduct basic analysis on various Oral Care products (e.g., Rheology, Foam, Physiochemical parameters etc) and document the results as per internal standards.

  • Perform all activity related to product development, including Raw material organizing/testing, Batch making, stability analysis, and inventory management, as per standard protocol.

  • Daily verification and calibration of basic  equipment.

  • Act as an integral part of EOHS & Quality standards to ensure the safety and quality of products and the working environment.

 

Required  Qualifications:

  • M.Sc in Chemistry, M.Pharm, or M.Tech Cosmetics/Oil-Oleo Chemical Technologies.

  • Strong fundamental knowledge in basic chemistry.

  • Fair to good exposure to techniques and instrumentation.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e., Sheets, Slides, Docs).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formulation lab experience
