Job Summary
●Responsible for providing support to the Business Function for all local HR activities (CP India & CGBS) in the areas of :
- Personnel Administration
- New Hire On-boarding
- Employee Programs
- Compliance Activities
- Administration of Local Benefits
- Exit formalities including F&F settlements.
● Foster a healthy interpersonal relationship with stakeholders across the Plants and Branches to help achieve a seamless support service to employees PAN India.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
● Personnel Administration - Ensure personnel administration activities are performed accurately, in compliance with local processes and requirements and in a timely manner.
- Document creation and collection for employee data changes – Maintaining Personnel files, contract renewals & generation.
- Manage local termination processes including signing contracts and paperwork, collecting company property, notifying local vendors, coordinating with payroll, etc.
- Provide documentary support for Audit purposes
- Support & play an active role in driving the end to end process of Full & Final settlements including PF, Gratuity & any other statutory dues (if applicable) – Be the last point of contact for all terminated employees.
- Tracking and maintaining employee records
- Administration of Time and Attendance activities
- Preparing Employee verification letters (as applicable)
- Any other pre-payroll activities (as applicable)
● Talent Acquisition Logistics
- Supporting the Business HR in the completion of the pre-boarding checklist (badge, equipment, desk, etc.) for New Hire transition to day 1 of employment
- Administration of the New Joinee pre-boarding paperwork
● Employee Programs (as applicable)
- Responsible for coordination & planning of employee programs in collaboration with the Communication & Administration teams.
● Statutory Compliance
- Provide the required support from time to time in maintaining & complying with records related to Statutory Compliance.
● Benefits - Drive Benefits administration in the areas of :
- Group Term Life Policy / EDLI
- Hospitalization Insurance
- Health Checkups
- Administration of other local benefits eg. Vehicle Loans etc.
● Escalate requests appropriately where guidance or further clarification of policies and procedures is required
● Keep the knowledge management materials upto date as per process (SOPs, process maps etc.)
● Recommend continuous improvement solutions for improving the processes and procedures
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations
- Experience with HR and/or shared services technology/functionality (e.g., case management, knowledge management, etc.)
Areas of Skills:
- Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer experience in a professional manner
- Effective listening, oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HR processes and practices
- Good organization and problem solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize critical items while learning quickly
- Ability to follow through and successfully manage through difficult interactions
