What is the purpose of this role?
The role involves the development and handling of HORECA and Institutional clients. You will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and executing marketing and distribution initiatives tailored for our institutional clients. Leveraging an in-depth understanding of customer needs in the institutional space, your primary focus will be on creating brand visibility and fostering lasting partnerships within the institutional segment to drive profitable growth.

 

What would be the responsibilities for this role?


Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:

● Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competition, and potential business growth opportunities in in HORECA/ Institutional Business and new adjacent channels (like schools, gifting solutions etc)
● Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and distribution strategies targeting current and potential institutional clients
● Manage the product portfolio, brand image & positioning, and communication tailored for the institutional sector, ensuring consistency and relevance.


Commercial Delivery:
● Developing Account acquisition strategy and prospect wise time bound acquisition plan
● Deliver the monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives of volume, value, market share and activation in the channel
● Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, optimizing resources for maximum ROI and growth.


Key Account Management
● Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients,
understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions in terms of products, SKUs and pricing
● Campaign Management: Create and execute innovative marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer engagement within institutional channels.
● Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms
● Developing and implementing Account wise sales plan


Cross-functional Collaboration:
● Partner closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Packaging, and Marketing to ensure delivery and service quality
● Collaborate with Innovation and Brands team for new product development, brand image
positioning in institutional channel in line with company’s business objective


What does the ideal candidate profile look like?
Required -

7-10 years in sales with atleast 5yrs in HORECA/Institutional Sales with a
demonstrated record of building and delivering business growth in Institutions


Preferred:
▪ Experience in scaling premium brands in personal care or FMCG segment in institutional channel
