Qualification: 

 

A degree in law from a reputed law college in India.

 

What would be the responsibilities for this role?

  • Provide advice to all areas of the business on supply chain related issues and assist with mitigation strategies, under the guidance of the Head – Legal / Chief Marketing Counsel; seek out assistance from GLO colleagues (e.g., Commercial transactions Specialists), as needed, to provide comprehensive advice to the business
  • Negotiate and draft supply chain related agreements in line with business goals.
  • Liaise with global and divisional commercial lawyers to confirm consistency (where appropriate) in supply chain advice across markets
  • Drafting and reviewing all commercial contracts like Vendor Contracts, Manufacturing &  Supply Agreements, Contract/Third Party Manufacturing Agreements, Master Services  Agreement, Service Provider Agreements, Loan Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Non Disclosure/ Confidentiality Agreements, Consultancy Agreements, Real Estate documents etc. 
  • Advising on Labour laws and drafting/ vetting of the response to notices / show cause notices under labour laws and  related litigation matters.  
  • Support new business development initiatives including negotiations and execution of  agreements. 
  • Assisting the India Global Technology Centre team in legal documentation related requirements
  • Limit litigation risk exposure, including risks derived from business activities and employee  relations. Interact with external lawyers/ counsels.
  • Effectively coordinate and handle the Statutory Compliance Portal of the organization as regards the Supply Chain/GTC operations. 

 

What does the ideal candidate profile look like?

  •  Minimum 6  years of experience out of which 2 years of experience in FMCG/Pharma  Industry is desirable but not mandatory
  • We are looking for someone with relevant experience of working with manufacturing organizations with significant exposure to supply chain operations
