What is the purpose of this role?
You will provide thought leadership on in store shopper experience and drive it across DT and IDT channels for the Customer Development function
Why is this exciting?
The ecosystem in which Customer Development operates is undergoing a huge change in terms of emergence of omnichannel and new retail. With the emergence of new retail, there will be newer ways to engage with the shopper both in Direct as well as Indirect Trade. Hence, enhancing the in store shopper experience is a key priority for us. In this role, you will have the opportunity to own and lead strategic partnerships across channels for the Customer Development function.
What would be the responsibilities for this role?
▪    Responsible for superior in-store shopper experience (shopper journey, planograming, demos, trials) in GT/MT
▪    Work across functions to integrate insights driven strategies to drive category and brand growth within the store
▪    Provide key shopper insights leadership by understanding shopper behavior through qualitative and quantitative research
▪    Identify issues/opportunities that could help transform the retailer aisle and category to improve navigation and drive differentiation with the shopper
▪    Develop and champion retailer specific category and shopper dynamics (e.g. path-to-purchase, shopper decision journeys etc.)

▪    Offtakes 
▪    Number of shopper engagement programs
▪    Initiatives basis shopper insighting
What does the ideal candidate profile look like?
▪    4 years of experience with FMCG

▪    Frontline sales experience of 2 years in GT/ MT

▪    Strong understanding of shopper behavior
▪    Strong analytical problem solving skills
