What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

The role is part of the Global IT Governance team and has a key part to play in overall IT project portfolio management and governance by providing leadership, coordination and management. You will be a people manager which includes working closely with senior IT leaders in establishing, implementing and leading standard processes and mentor and coach your team members. The role will also play a critical role in crafting formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and allocation of resources. Further, this role will have to ensure that the IT Leadership Team is equipped with accurate project status information to provide visibility and transparency of the GIT portfolio to senior management.

Who are you…

You are a Portfolio Manager -

Ensure consistency to Colgate's GIT Project management and portfolio framework while making sure that the project managers have the support needed to optimally deliver on project execution.

You are a collaborator -

Collaborate with IT and business leaders on all aspects related to IT project portfolio - business case and project intake, resource planning, project prioritization, project status tracking and value realization

You are an innovator -

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing project management, generating business value proposition and driving governance standards to meet compliance, etc.

What you’ll need…(Required)

• Bachelors in Engineering or any field
• We need 10 + years of overall experience, with focus on SAP Delivery
• Should have led teams to deliver E2E SAP projects in the role of program / project manager
• Hands on experience working on various project and portfolio management tools with various methodology (Agile, Waterfall etc)
• Experience partnering with the IT leadership teams
• Has worked on proposing and developing technical solutions and driving POCs, partnering with the vendor teams. Ability to communicate the same to the stakeholders

What you’ll need…(Preferred)

• Academic certifications in relevant subjects, project management and systems.
• Knowledge about new technologies, Industry standard methodologies and Analytic Skills
