Job Summary

This position is responsible for driving human capital strategy to build a safe, resilient and future ready commercial organization. In addition to the Business HR responsibilities for the commercial teams at head office, you will independently lead large organization development initiatives to build functional & leadership capabilities critical from a future readiness standpoint along with building a cohesive and vibrant culture with motivated employees contributing optimally to meet the company’s overall business objectives. This role requires ability to work independently with minimal direction.


Partner with Business Leaders to build high performing organization.

  • Identify and implement forward-looking solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies aligned with the HR Strategy
  • Understand business dynamics and challenges in the context of changing retail landscape, digital & analytics - translate these into relevant HR strategies & action plans
  • Map the talent implications arising from these business dynamics and provide inputs to the commercial HR Head


Drive Change Management:

  • Conceptualize & implement OD interventions to enable F.E.E.D and MTMB mindset across the organization and to drive behavioral changes in collaboration with Commercial Head HR
  • Provide proactive advice to commercial leaders around culture, team dynamics and team effectiveness along with commercial HR head
  • Deploy Organization Development tools and methods as appropriate to enable positive employee relations and culture change
  • Be accessible to coach commercial leaders and people managers, and provide advice and guidance to enhance leadership skills of line managers
  • Design & implement capability building programs for the commercial teams in-line with the business & org priorities (as listed in the Strat plan) to drive growth.


Employee Engagement:

  • Establish proactive and responsive channels of communication to understand the pulse of the organization
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve employee morale, reinforce team culture, reduce attrition and raise productivity
  • Support Commercial Head HR for driving critical org communications, head count budgeting & tracking, and NVO management.


Required Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Atleast 6+ years of progressive HR Business Partnering experience
  • Experience in implementation of strategic HR initiatives
