What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s team ?

The role is part of the Global IT Governance team and has a key role to play in IT project portfolio management, audit and compliance, incident management and change management by providing leadership, coordination and management. The role will be responsible for developing solutions and support related to the areas highlighted above. Additionally the role will also involve working closely with senior IT leaders in establishing, implementing and managing best practices for IT project portfolio management throughout the organization.

 

Who are you…

You are a function specialist -

  • Understand and apply information technology standards and best practices to daily support and project implementation activities
  • Apply conceptual knowledge and technology to unravel business processes and fix procedural problems
  • Lead and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standards
  • Maintain production systems reliability through accurate utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes.

 

You connect the dots -

  • Drive day to day business requirements according to Global SLA
  • Develop solutions to address business requirements considering priorities and resources available. Ensure timely delivery of the solutions
  • Ensure the utilization of GIT 5 step project management methodology to comply with IT governance practices.

 

You are a collaborator -

  • Build and develop positive relationships with GIT peers, business partners, customers and external resources
  • Coordinate / support / lead projects and design frameworks.

 

You are an innovator -

  • Identify and assess new technologies in the area of IT Portfolio Management, Change Management, Incident Management and Audit and Compliance.

 

What you’ll need…(Required):

  • Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent
  • 12 + years of overall experience, with focus on Project Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Audit and Compliance in a SAP environment.
  • Should have led teams to deliver E2E SAP projects in the role of program / project manager
  • Hands on experience working on various project and portfolio management tools
  • Experience partnering with the IT leadership teams
  • Has worked on proposing and developing technical solutions and driving POCs, partnering with the vendor teams. Ability to present the same to the stakeholders.

 

What you’ll need…(Preferred):

  • Academic certifications in relevant subjects, project management and systems.
  • Knowledge about emerging technologies and Industry best practices.
