Position Summary:


The Customer Finance Manager - Direct Trade is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of direct trade with strategic customers. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Financial Management: Oversee financial transactions and processes related to direct trade activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and track budgets and forecasts for customer accounts involved in direct trade. Provide variance analyses and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights into customer profitability, trade spend, and pricing strategies. Make recommendations to optimize financial performance and support decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align financial strategies with business goals. Facilitate communication between finance and other departments to enhance customer relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with direct trade agreements. Ensure all financial dealings comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including trend analysis and performance metrics, to senior management. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting related to direct trade.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction. Lead initiatives to implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • CA with 8+ years of experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sale finance, with a focus on direct trade 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as SAP, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
