Job Context:

The Creative Manager reports to the Content Lead; and is responsible for creative leadership of Colgate-Palmolive's Digital-first creatives on E-Commerce, d2c, CRM & Loyalty and Brand Experience campaigns. This role is a mid-senior creative role and as such the creative vision and influence of the Creative Manager will be felt across the entire marketing organization. Our creative team is super-talented, and in need of a leader who can inspire, guide, push and grow them. The Creative Manager needs to have entrepreneurial zest to drive creative performance through online marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, JioMart, Big Basket, Blinkit, Online Pharma platforms like Tata 1mg, Pharmeasy, Apollo 24*7, Netmeds etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Role Summary:

The Creative Manager is responsible for:

  • Successfully delivering innovative & thoughtful creative services in a strategic & tactful manner (From campaigns to events, to activations)
  • Thinking conceptually and possessing an aptitude for design that serves to elevate the quality of the work that flows through CP Content Lab, regardless of medium/channel
  • Setting standards and ensure we deliver the highest quality of Creative output
  • Inspiring, mentoring, and overseeing the professional development of the Creative Team while nurturing a strong culture of collaboration across marketing and e-commerce teams
  • Developing a sense of “team” in the department – drive to do great work, and also have fun

Creative Development:

  • Lead the creative process from brief to execution & define methods of performance tracking
  • Work closely with in-house creative teams including Art Directors, Copywriters, Editors, Animators to produce best-in-class marketplace commerce and digital content for CP’s mix of brands
  • Responsible for all Creative output of CP India Content Lab

Creative Optimization: (With support from Project Management Team)

  • Refresh of Creative assets basis platform performance and benchmark CTRs
  • Testing assets on Neurovision tool to ensure compliance with benchmarks.

Build a Creative Reputation for CP India Content Lab, locally and in The division:

  • Ability to creatively guide creative workshops, briefing sessions, high-priority brainstorms, emerging technology and social opportunities, and innovating on campaign work
  • Review and optimize the work your team produces, while making sure they are developing as creative problem solvers
  • The Creative Group Head should be seen as setting the creative vision across the group
  • Always give constructive feedback, building a team of digital first thinkers & creative developers
  • Measurement against KPIs: Overall Creative Strategy, digital creative performance (VTRs, CTRs, Clicks, ROAS etc.)
  • Success at local, regional & international awards for creative output by CP India Content Lab

Champion Industry and Category Best Practices:

  • Elevate the standards of Creative quality through constant review and assessment
  • Present industry and category best practices in Marketing groups and forums
  • Champion and celebrate good-work produced by the team in internal forums and discussions
  • Liaise with Creative counter-parts from platform partners and publishers (Google, Facebook,

Amazon, Flipkart) and bring domestic and international case-studies to the Colgate- Palmolive marketing and commerce discussions.


Qualifications Required:

  •  Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or Media
  • 6 plus years of experience working in a leading commerce platform and minimum 2-4 in digital agencies
  • Strategic creative thinker
  • Excellent quality-control skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to frequently change priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Impeccable English Communication Skills: Written and Verbal
  • Ability to create interactive presentations in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides
