Title: EHS Associate Analyst/Analyst



Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

 

  • Impactful Role: Join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team as an Analyst and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and global regulatory compliance of our products.

  • Core Responsibility: You will own the creation and maintenance of accurate and compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for our products.

  • Regulatory Focus: This is essential for accurately communicating product hazards and guaranteeing all information adheres to local, national, and international health and safety regulations.

  • Brand Trust: Your work will reinforce the trust and quality that define the Colgate-Palmolive brand.

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create, review, and update SDS for our chemicals and products in compliance with regional and international regulations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed product information and resolve any discrepancies in data.

  • Stay current with evolving chemical regulations and ensure that our SDS documents are aligned with the latest requirements in the regions where our products are distributed.

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on SDS documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of hazard information.

  • Maintain organized records of SDS creation, updates, and distribution for audit and compliance purposes.

  • Assist in responding to internal and external inquiries regarding chemical safety information.



 

 

 

Required  Qualifications:

 

  • A Master's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a related scientific field is preferred.

  • Strong foundation in chemistry or related field, with a passion for learning

  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.

  • Knowledge of raw materials and their environmental, health, and safety profiles.








 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • A Master's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a related scientific field is preferred.

  • Knowledge of SAP EHS Domain

  • Strong foundation in chemistry or related field, with a passion for learning

  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

  • Knowledge of raw materials and their environmental, health, and safety profiles.

  • Understanding of company-specific data systems is advantageous. (SAP EHS Domain)

  • Openness to new technologies and methodologies in EHS.
