Job Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of Colgate's analytic solutions and services for Marketing and Customer Development (Sales) across our divisions (Colgate & Hill’s). Solutions development will include being part of migration teams to transfer activities around external data management, diagnostic reporting and deep dive analysis to support on the ground activities in our subsidiaries and hubs. The incumbent must have effective written and oral communication with business stakeholders, internal IT partners and external strategic business partners. In general, the incumbent must be an analytic thinker with the ability to work with large data sets, detail-oriented, problem solver, collaborative and customer-oriented (proactive and responsive to stakeholder needs). It is desirable for the incumbent to have people management and development skills & experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development of scalable data management and reporting solutions to support analytics for Marketing and Customer Development (Sales) working with the Global Analytics Functional Leads
  • Develop and manage visualization deliverables that bring to life the data sets allowing for drill downs, diagnostics and self-service by the functions in the center and on the ground.
  • Initial set up and on-going services for assortment analysis of Colgate and Hill’s product portfolio across subsidiaries.
  • Development and implementation of centralized planogram services for Colgate and Hill’s subsidiaries and hubs.
  • Assist with change management needs (e.g., training, communications, etc.) as part of roll-out and on-going support of analytic tools, processes and services.
  • Ready to work collaboratively with business partners across geographies

Performance/Skill Criteria:

  • High level of comfort with large sets of data and attention to details and passion for accuracy
  • Problem-solver, with analytic thinking and ability to apply root cause analysis
  • Ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and meet deadlines
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google & MS Office tools (i.e., standard functions – aggregation, pivots, look ups, etc.)
  • Good listening and collaboration skills to enhance project team effectiveness

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor in any Stream
  • Master’s in Business or Analytics (preferred)
  • 7 plus years of experience
  • Proficient in Reporting via Excel and On-line Visualization Tools
  • Experience with Analytic Tools such as SAS and Planogram Software such as JDA
