The Multimedia Specialist at Colgate-Palmolive will focus on video production and editing to support the Corporate Communications team's efforts to amplify our purpose and engage our audiences. This position’s success will hinge on transformational leadership and upskilling of the function, both contributing directly to and creating systems that enable impactful multimedia storytelling internally and externally. Responsibilities include collaborating with various internal stakeholders and external partners to create high-quality video content that enhances our corporate narratives and brand image. Exhibit CP values and leadership principles in all aspects of communications. Innovation, collaboration, and curiosity in addition to technical expertise will be critical for success.

What you'll do

  • Advanced Technical Editing & Post-Production: Demonstrate mastery in major NLEs (Premiere, DaVinci, or Final Cut), advanced color grading across diverse camera sources, motion graphics (After Effects), and high-quality sound design and audio curation.
  • End-to-End Video Production & Storytelling: Lead the ideation, scriptwriting, directing, and editing of premium corporate video assets, utilizing tools like AI storyboarding to create narrative-driven series that engage employees, recruits, and consumers.
  • Platform Fluency & Social-First Strategy: Build content tailored for diverse formats, seamlessly shifting between high-production long-form documentaries and "lo-fi" social-first vertical content (9:16) optimized with strategic hooks and pattern interrupts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Agency Oversight: Partner cross-functionally with Corporate Communications and external vendors to manage video shoots, provide creative and project management oversight, and ensure strict alignment with brand standards.
  • Strategic Asset Management & Compliance: Overhaul and maintain digital libraries across DAM platforms (Bynder, Google Drive, EMAM) using rigorous metadata standards to ensure the seamless retrieval and compliant storage of archival and current footage.
  • Workflow Optimization & Continuous Innovation: Evaluate and scale production technologies, integrate generative AI and performance data to refine content strategy, and bring industry best practices from major tech conferences (NAB, Adobe MAX) to eliminate pipeline bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years in video production, editing and multimedia asset curation 
  • Strong proficiency in video editing and filming across a variety of formats
  • Website or portfolio to share of video creative projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software Mastery: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro
  • Strong understanding of digital asset management and organizing digital systems thinking 
  • Demonstration of data-driven decision making as it relates to creative decisions in video production 
  • Extremely strong communication skills


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
