The Financial Analyst is responsible for Cost & Inventory activities.  This position focuses on Future Costing, Fixed Assets and Inventory Analysis.  

 

What you will do

  • Providing support in driving Funding the Growth (FTG) discipline; validating potential savings, tracking results and ensuring implementation of savings projects.
  • Assists the Plant Controller in the coordination of budget process by ensuring adherence to timelines and data submission requirements.
  • Prepares annual budget facility conversion costs.
  • Analyzes and verifies budget cost changes vs. prior periods.
  • Performs estimated standard cost calculation for new products and changed/revised formulas.
  • Coordinates relationship with business service center partners on cost revisions and month-end activities.
  • Provides reporting and analysis of cost change impacts to the P&L for business partners.
  • Performs balance sheet and plant variance analysis.
  • Conducts absolute material loss/gain analysis and support continuous improvement.
  • Performs plant inventory (raw, packaging and work in process) analysis.
  • Coordinates and controls cyclical cycle counts and annual full physical inventory counts.
  • Identifies accruals and reserves for month-end close.
  • Prepares raw material and packaging material cost evolution information and submits it to Procurement team for review and validation.
  • Collaborates with Plant Engineering on capital management program; Reviews projects for appropriateness; Monitors capital projects against defined objectives and development / validation of support.
  • Provides input on fixed assets (capital projects) for both budget & latest estimates.
  • Coordinates, performs and documents fixed assets physical count, and performs validation of results (e.g. asset tagging, potential write-offs).
  • Manages Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements for all inventory segments and fixed assets.
  • Coordinates technician payroll in collaboration with local human resources.
  • Invoices and reconciles miscellaneous sales.
  • Liaises with other manufacturing plants, division finance team, direct and indirect procurement teams, demand and supply teams and external auditors.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement efforts as appropriate.
  • Assists Plant Controller with special projects, as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Accounting or Finance concentration. 
  • 5+ years financial or plant experience required.
  • Strong relevant systems knowledge (Google Suite, MS Excel, SAP) 
  • Strong analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills required to interact with business partners.
  • Supply Chain understanding.

  • Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) knowledge


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $91.200,00 - $128.000,00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
