Job Title:  CPFR Analyst

Travel Required ?:  Travel - up to 10% of time

The CPFR Analyst is in charge of the demand planning accuracy with plan alignment in the sales and operations planning process within the Customer Development Team. Fully leverages customer data to drive growth and efficiencies and support demand and supply synchronization initiatives.


Core Responsabilities:

  • Collaborative Planning, Forecast & Replenishment (CPFR) to ensure shipment forecast generation (rolling 18 months) and CPFR best practices for Target. 
  • Leverage point of sale data to forecast trends, as well as, in-stock levels in order to determine the impact on supply chain key performance indicators. 
  • Develop appropriate relationships at Target and actively follow up to ensure maximum effectiveness on forecasting and inventory management initiatives.
  • Provide regular communication and analysis of business results to supply chain, Customer Alliance Management and Customer Development Team. 
  • Formulate specific action plans to address issues and maximize opportunities that support customer, supply chain and sales objectives.
  • Continued development, enhancement, and implementation of CPFR Best Practices; internally and externally.
  • Serve as liaison between CDO and Customer Service to assure strong execution of the order fulfillment process.


Day to Day Responsabilities:

  • Monitor and track sell through performance to provide information to supply chain and commercial team.
  • Perform pre and post promotional analysis in order to improve future promotional performance as well as forecast accuracy.
  • Utilize/validate Customer Data (POS and Customer Forecast, EDI 852 data) in development of CP shipment forecast
  • Monitor monthly service/logistics and financial KPI’s for Target and identify specific opportunities for improvement.


Leadership/Supervision skills:

  • As an individual contributor, personal leadership is critical to drive collaboration and deliver results.


Education and functional experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in Consumer Goods industries.
  • 2+ years of functional experience.
  • 1 year of demand planning experience.
  • 1+ year of experience with database management (Excel, Access, Google sheets,etc).
  • SAP system knowledge: including R/3, APO, and Business Warehouse- Preferred.
  • 1 year experience using data analytics applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Major: Business, Logistics or related.
