Core Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to ensure printed reproduction meets design intent/target, corporate brand standards, and established print quality standards.
  • Help drive continuous print quality improvement among regional supplier base.
  • Provide print production support to the region
  • Assist developing new suppliers and/or new technical capabilities at existing suppliers.
  • Provide technical support to DM and DIM during regional adaptations.
  • Troubleshooting quality printing issues.

 

Needed Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of packaging and commercial printing & decoration techniques [flexo, offset, gravure, screen, etc]
  • Strong knowledge of color reproduction and management technologies
  • Strong knowledge of color matching and hard/soft proofing technologies
  • Strong knowledge of common packaging materials and how they impact design execution [labels, paperboards, films, etc]
  • Working knowledge of packaging design, adaptation, & prepress processes
  • Working knowledge of basic office applications [Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc]
  • Basic knowledge of design software applications [Photoshop, Illustrator]

  • Good communicator. Proficiency in understanding and being understood by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Depth. Ability to understand technical state of the packaging industry and apply.
  • Managing Ambiguity. Ability to make decisions and develop recommendations and in the face of uncertainty.
